Range Rover Sport TDV6 3.0 Remap

ECU Remapped 02/11/2015
Gain 35Bhp 75Nm
Always a worthwhile tune on the Range Rover Sport 211 BHp is a bit lame in stock form but once remapped they go a lot better and also get improved mpg -. even these early versions of the 3 litre v6s where we have to tune on the bench and the battery etc has to come out to access the ecu are no match for our knowledge and the whole job takes comfortably under 2 hours

ECU remapped 04/11/2015
Gain 37BHp 75Nm
The hardest vehicle to buy is a clean reliable cheap van – they just don’t seem to exist – most would want the 150BHp 1.9 cdtI astravan but there is a lot of mileage in getting the 1,7 and mapping it – this was 101 BHp now 138 ish which is more than enough power to get you and your tools around and opening up the 1.7s to what you are looking at brings in some more lower mile examples

ECU Remapped 05/11/2015
Gain 38 BHp 75Nm
Mnay of you who read our posts regularly know those vehicles fitted with Bosch edc17 ECUs after April 2009 need to be tuned on the bench but there are a few exceptions – VAG group cars where we have a copy of original software can be tuned via the OBD port and also Renault Traffic / Vauxhall Vivaro / Nissan Primstars are also tunable via the OBD socket which makes live easy for us , cheaper and quicker for you. This is the third vehicle Chris has had us tune, his last Traffic was the edc16 version again with 115BHp stock so when he got his new one he missed the extra power and more mpg so we were called quickly to rectify

BMW E46 318 Ci Remap

ECU Remapped 06/11/2015
Gain 15BHp 20Nm
I hate the winter its dark by 5 pm already so the photo I took of the car didn’t come out so heres a library photo in case you don’t know what an e46 looks like. Another 4 cylinder petrol BMW this time the 1.9 litre with its annoying 1700-2100 rpm flat spot or more like chasm that remapping massively improves along with throttle response and more power right through the rev range

Vauxhall Zafira 1.9 CDTi Remap

Vauxhall Zafira CDTi Remap

ECU Remapped 11/11/2015
Gain 38BHp 75Nm
Not many months go by without us seeing a Zafira 1.9 diesel in for a bit of remapping but this was quite unusual in that it only had 45k miles on it – usually they are a minicab with spaceship miles. This one was an OBD tune fortunately – sometimes the edc16 doesn’t give a full enough read OBD to map properly but this one did

Subaru Impreza WRX Remap

Subaru Impreza WRX Remap

ECU Remapped 13/11/2015
Gain 35Bhp peak 55Nm
The 08 on hatchback Impreza is a lot less in your face than the bug eye and hawk eye varieties and that may be its best trick
227BHp in stock form a remap will gain 30 odd bhp peak and 45 bhp through the rev range along with 55nm of extra torque at peak and 80Nm through the rev range – add ina performance panel air filter ( we love Simota ones as they are 100 pct cotton and non oiled) and that will help it breath a bit better and add 5 bhp more and you have a very nippy hatchback that isn’t offensively loud in fact its a bit of a sleeper

ECU Remapped 13/11/2015
Gain 35BHp 75Nm
We have recently put a lot of work into improving the remap we offer on the 2.0 tdi 170ps engine when it uses the Siemens ppd1 ecu as we found some had small stutters once mapped and the extra effort we have made is well worthwhile – this diesel is now a proper hot hatch and family sized too

Audi A3 2.0 tfsI Remap

Audi A3 2.0 TFSi Remap

ECU Remapped 16/11/2015
Gain 45BHp 90Nm
Another very happy customer displaying what we refer to as the flip top head smile after he test drove his car post remap – These 2.0 TFSi VAG vehicles go so well from remapping alone – He did have a very nice open cone air filter with heat shield and was contemplating an exhaust modification but I think the remap will be enough – No more late arrivals for Football training Tim

Fiat Grande Punto 1.9 MJet Remap

ECU Remapped 21/11/2015
Gain 38BHp 75Nm
Its a very good choice a smallish car with a reasonably powerful and larger cc diesel engine – in the real world they usually give great fuel economy, decent performance and longevity. This 57 reg has the edc16c39 ecu which only reads a partial file via the OBD port and while you can get away with that 50pct of the time its better to do it properly from the off – its 4 10mm bolts unplug the two ecu plugs and the ecu is out 2 minutes tops. dropping a bdm probe on the board and reading direct eliminates problems on the dash after OBD programming too
Great gains and the Grande Punto is now a proper hot hatch

BMW E60 520D Remap

ECU Remapped 21/11/2015
Gain 40BHp 80Nm
Nothing new here 2006 BMW 520d 163 BHp remapped with great power gains better throttle response and improved fuel economy – no wonder these Bavarian mile munchers get tuned so often it would be crazy not to

Nissan_Navara_Remap

Nissan Navara 2.5 DCi Remap

ECU Remapped 23/1/2015
Gain 35BHp 75Nm
Big old work busses that can double up as family transport at the weekend makes a sensible vehicle but poor fuel economy and the turning circle of the QE2 let the Nissan Navara down – while I cant do anything about the turning circle we can certainly give it more power and improved fuel economy

VW Passat 2.0 TDi Remap

VW Passat 2.0 Tdi 140 Remap

ECU Remapped 24/11/2015
Gain 40 Bhp 80Nm
This was a 55 Reg 2.0 Tdi Passat so one would expect to see a Bosch EDC16 ecu but nope this one had a Siemens ecu that is usually found in the 170Bhp version – even stranger that is read under Can line rather than K line which usually was not seen till 2007 onwards – still no difference to the car or customer still maps very well and gives a large boost in power, response and economy

Audi RS4 4.2 FSi Remap

Audi RS4 4.2 FSi Remap

ECUs Remapped 25/11/2015
Gain 30BHp 45Nm
I haven’t remapped one of these for a while – Its a bit time consuming as two ecus to read and write ( OK I know you don’t have to read the slave but I always do just to check the s/w is identical on both) they are pretty slow reads and slow writes so all in 2.5 hours to tune the Audi – Boy do they sound good – and now got some extra pick up and of course it would be rude not to remove the speed limiter at 155Mph for the AutoBarn days out

Vauxhall Insignia 2.0 CDTi 140ps RemapVauxhall Insignia 2.0 CDTi Remap2

Vauxhall Insignia 2.0 DCTi 140 Remap

ECU Remapped 27/11/2015
Gain 35BHp 75Nm
Some ecus are more tricky than others to remap and this gpt version of the edc17 does require a few probes and resistors to get the ecu to read and write – worthwhile gains from the big Vauxhall – Now I’m off to the pub to play darts for some relaxation

vw eos remap

VW Eos 2.0 Tdi 140 Remap

ECU Remapped 28/11/2015
Gain 40 BHp 80Nm
A big difference once remapped on the 2.0 Tdi 140 VAG unit this time in the Golf Convertible ( EOS ) even when driven through the DSG gearbox as this one was – more power , better response and improve mpg – the remapping trilogy

Seat Leon FR 2.0 TDi Remap

Gain 40Bhp 80Nm
Even if you are a Dartford FC fan you will still get a good service here at FlashRemapping – we hold no grudges over the result of the 2012 Blue Square South playoff final – Great gains from the Seat and despite being a 2013 vehicle we can remap via the OBD port with or specialist systems
