Nissan Qashqai 2.0 Dci Remap and DPF Delete

ECU Remapped 02/01/2014

Gain 30Bhp 60Nm 

This was the first Qashqai we have removed the DPF from but we knew from others this would be OK and once we had mastered the keyless system to get the dash lit up it was relatively straight forward apart from a couple of rusted nuts on the exhaust – the dpf fault codes cleared and the new software written it will not cause any more problems 

Ford Focus ST 225 Remap

Gain 50Bhp 100Nm 

Well spotted – why am I posting about a car remapped on 27th Dec – well its because we did the remap then but it wasn’t right – The car came into us with a ridiculous remap on it requesting huge and I mean huge amounts of boost 1.6bar above atmospheric to be precise but it only showed 0.3 bar on the boost gauge – we put our remap on the car and asked the customer to drive it for a few days to see what happened – well it was smooth and more powerful than his previous NASP golf 1.6 but still not gain in boost so we asked him to bring it back in – it was definitely a bit flat so after some delving we came to the conclusion that the boost control solenoid was knackered – keeping the waste gate open permanently so 0.3 bar was all it was getting – fortunately we had one in stock and for less than £80 fitted the car now gives a healthy 1 bar of boost and good proper ST Turbo power around the 270bhp mark – the moral of this story and a lesson to be learnt – you cannot and should not try and remap a car around a problem or fault – sort out the fault first – if the boost control solenoid had been changed with the map on it that it came in with 1.6 bar of boost would have killed the turbo in double quick time – trust the professionals – trust FlashRemapping 

BMW 335i Cabriolet Remap

The twin turbo charged 3 litre BMW is a stunning engine with just over 300 bhp in stock form – this was a near perfect example with only 32k miles – slow to read and write but the wait is worthwhile as its now lightening fast – as they say you cant rust perfection

Audi A4 B8 2.0 TDi Remap and DPF delete

Gain 40BHp 80Nm 

Another London car with a blocked DPF this one was a mid 2009 so required a bench tune as the EDC17CP20 has tuning protected software but that no problem for a good tuner – this only took 75minutes to tune including cutting the anti-tamper bolts off the ecu cage

Mercedes c200 Kompressor Remap

Gain 13BHp 16Nm 

With 163BHp already the Mercedes coupe isn’t a bad vehicle and 13BHp gains doesn’t sound amazing but the throttle response and mid range torque gains make a difference to the drive –

Renault Megane 2.0 Dci 150 Remap 

ECU Remapped 06/01/2014

Gain 35BHp 65Nm 

150Bhp as standard makes this a warm hatchback but the remap does make a nice difference to the available torque – its a bit complicated to get the dashboard lit up correctly as there is no key just a card system but once you know your way around this it is an OBD remap taking just over an hour – its a joy to drive now

BMW 135i Remap

6 days into the year and this is the second 3 litre twin turbo petrol BMW we have tuned – the reason why – our map for this car is the best there is – super smooth and extremely powerful if you like your cars fast and smooth this could be the answer

Vauxhall Vivaro 2.0 Cdti Remap and Speed Limiter removal

Nice gains from the Vivaro as usual and what is more fantastic is that the 100km speed limiter that was on the vehicle is now removed – This is available on edc16 version with eth 2.0 litre engine – the 1.9s we are still working on the speed limiter but fortunately this is a lot rarer to be limited

Porsche 911(996) Turbo Remap

Now thats a proper car with proper power 420Bhp in stock form and now with 475BHp and loads of extra torque makes a very fast car very very fast.

Now I need to call the bank and ask for a loan

Audi S4 Quattro 4.2 Remap

What is it waith cabriolets this week – its January but following yesterdays Porsche another Cab comes in for a remap – this one is in mint condition with only 42k miles the cream leather seats were like new and the roof you could eat your dinner off – Now the performance and throttle response is up to the mark much sharper and with better mid range torque

Range Rover 4.4 Vogue Remap

Overfinch alloys and extras on this vehicle but standard tuning meant that it needed a little tweek and while the gains are not enormous it is a lot smoother and yet more responsive – thats a good result

BMW 120D M Sport Remap

Crazy after Saturdays 320d that was an 07 with tuning protection this 58 reg did not have it despite having a main dealer software update – so it was tunable via the OBD port 
Great gains and we also fitted a Simota air filter that will help massively with the air flow – This Baby BMW is now very sharp indeed

VW Transporter T5 2.5TDi 130Remap

I know exactly what you are thinking thats a t5.1 or t6 Transporter that is a 2 litre not a 2.5 but you would be wrong – this T5 has been facelifted with a t5.1 front end and Golf GTi steering wheel – So lets be honest after spending all that money making it look good it had better drive good and 130Bhp just doesnt cut it – Its much much improved now more like the 174 version that is rarer and much more expensive

BMW 123D Remap

If you want a little diesel flying maching this isnt a bad call the 123d comes with just over 200 bhp in stock form and will give great mpg – with a tune it will be close on 250BHp and as long as you dont “drive it like a rental car” the mpg will be improved too – happy days

BMW Z4 2.0 Remap

The 2.0 litre z4 is a bit lackluster in performance a especially when fitted with these huge wheels/tyres so we tuned it for better mid range performance to give it its zing back

As you can see mid range bhp/torque much better
It had average supermarket fuel in teh tank for the test – I think that with a bit of premium fuel the figures will improve on this as well

Skoda Fabia 1.6 Tdi Remap

Amazing results from tuning the 75Bhp version  of the VAG 1.6Tdi engine taking it above and beyond the most powerful (102Bhp) version that is available – A serious change in the car – the customer text me 20 mins after picking it up saying ” are you sure you have given me back the same car” well yes the same car but different 

Porsche 997 Carrera 4S Remap

Following the 996 the 997 has soem nice added features – this one has the 4wd and wheels the same as the but not so inclined to try and kill you – nice gains here in bhp torque and throttle response

Audi A6 2.0 TDi Remap

This was a 2006 model and one of teh earliers CANBUS network vehicles which is the coms method for reading and writing to the ecu – 1 hour after arriving the car is faster, smoother with boatloads more torque and unless driven like a “rental car” will give improved fuel economy

BMW 325i Coupe Remap

What do you do if you bought the 325i with all the bits you wanted but the performance is a bit lackluster – you could take it back to BMW and trade it in for a 330i that may not have the spec you want or you can bring it to FlashRemapping and we can tweek it up a bit hopefully to your desired level

Audi S3 1.8T Remap

The early 1.8T 225Bhp Audi S3 are getting hard to find in decent condition – this one was very nice and had recently had plugs and coil packs replaced which are a common problem area so the remap was pretty much guaranteed not to find weakness here – The customer was certainly impressed with the extra performance on the test drive

Land Rover Defender 2.4 Tdci Remap

This doesnt look like a transit and doesnt drive like a transit but it has the same engine, power and ecu ( Visteon DCU102) and exactly the same tuning method so the gains are pretty good – even more mud plugging ability now and better pace for when on the open road

BMW 335i Remapping

Its only the 22Nd of January and this is the 3RD 3 litre twin turbo petrol Bmw we have remapped that is because they tune well and our map is right up there with the best for this vehicle. So smooth yet massively more powerful – now all I need is a system taht will read the Siemens ECU faster than the 56 Minutes the Kess V2 does

BMW X6 35Xd Remap

A very trendy vehicle owned by a fully trained BMW technician so the map had to be good and leave no fault codes – well this is FlashRemapping not some monkey with a laptop of course it will have no fault codes – only a note that there was a can gateway error while writing to the ecu which we of course clear after the write – Anyway the car is now much quicker smoother and more responsive – Happy Days

BMW 320i E46 Remap

Not massive gains on the 170Bhp E46 but remember this is top end figures the 4 cylinder petrol BMWs are very flat in the 1700-2100 rpm area and the remap improves these dramatically – in fact if that’s all we improved it would be worth tuning the car for this alone

Vauxhall Zafira DPF Delete and Blend Remap

Another taxi with the 1.9 cdti engine with a blocked diesel particulate filter – the filter was removed and we have done the software update with dpf delete so no MIL lights and the car drives great again – with even more power and better fuel consumption

Audi A3 2.0 TDi 140 Remap

With diesel cars this good once they are remapped why would you want a petrol – its quick responsive and does 50 odd mpg this one being pre DPF as well will have very few problems

Vauxhall Astra 1.9 CDTi Remap

This was the 150BHp verion of the 1.9 CDTi the most powerful you can buy but we can still gain an extra 38BHp and 75Nm of torque making it a very swift hatchback indeed – better fuel economy also with this tune

BMW 520D E60 Remap and DPF delete

Only 65k miles and a chokka de blokka DPF filter that was so bad it occasionally stalled the car – Thats London driving for you – these filters need the car to be run at high revs every week or so to regenerate the filter – still we can remove them and remap the car to have no dpf and tune it while we are there – problem solved

Fiat Ducatto Remap 

2012 onwards Fiat Ducattos with Magnetti Marelli ecu has to be bench tuned 
After 5 attempts at dropping the bdm probe on the ecu without any joy out came the ribbon cable and the soldering iron – looks messy but at least when under the microscope you know there is a good connection – slow read and write but with FlashRemapping we have the options to get the job done – you need to be proficient at all types of connections in the remapping world today – you don’t get this experience from the average fool with a laptop
