BMW 320D Compact Remap

Gain 40BHp 80Nm 
When you work for Jaguar and drive their beautiful and powerful new cars all day you want the best for your own Jalopy. So choosing FlashRemapping to tune his BMW was a no-brainer – to say he was happy would be an understatment it went really well once remapped, such is the available tuning in this BMW

Peugeot 406 2.0 HDi Remap 

ECU Remapped 01/03/2014
Gain 35BHp 70Nm 
Big miles on this 406 but with a mechanic owner everything was in good condition so no problem to tune it and its a big difference even compared to the “smoke box” that was previously fitted

Vauxhall Astra 1.9 cdti Remap

Gain 38BHp 75Nm 
The 1.9 CDTi engine comes in many vehicles with differing BHPs as standard – this one was the 150BHp version so pretty powerful to start with but we can make a big difference to even the most powerful version – this one is now around the 190bhp mark and a proper diesel hot hatch

BMW 325D Remap

Gain 42BHp 90Nm 
Being a later 325d this one is fitted with the 6 cylinder engine similar to the 330d so there is a lot of scope for tuning – despite being a 27minute read from the bosch edc16 it still took under an hour to read modify and write the performance map that will give much more smoother power better throttle response and unless driven like a rental car improved fuel economy

Audi A6 2.5 TDi Remap

Gain 45Bhp 90Nm 
There are so many differnt BHp versions of the Audis with teh 2.5 litre engine this one had a BDG engine code signifying a 163BHp version – they all tune for the same gains though and 45BHp and 90Nm is a very healthy improvement and a much better car for it

Land Rover Discovery 3 Remap

What is that I hear you cry – its a manual stick in a Discovery diesel and cloth seats too – heavens above 
It was dark by the time i was taking the photo of this car so it didnt turn out well so I nicked this one from PistonHeads but it did look like this – Tuned up nicely though and felt a lot more responsive through the gears with plenty more grunt

Ford Fiesta 1.6 tdci Remap

Gain 30BHp 60Nm 
The Fiesta Zetec S 1.6 Tdci is an economical little hatchback with reasonable power at 90BHp but its a super car once remapped,
around town they will give a real 52mpg in stock form and with a remap 30% more power and an extra 5mpg plus. now thats something worthwhile

Ford Mondeo 2.0 Tdci 140Bhp Remap

Gain 30Bhp 60Nm 
Nice gains from the Mondeo – this one being a 2007 was fitted with the Siemens 206 ecu which is great as the read process is only about 60 seconds probably as the file is only 256Kb. The write even quicker making the whole process around 40 minutes. Its certainly quicker now and more economical too.

Mini Cooper S remap

2007 introduced the Turbo charged version of the Mini cooper S replacing the Supercharged version and this is just great for tuning as we can achieve much greater results from a turbo than the supercharger ( unless you start changing pulleywheels etc ) 
This one becomes really quick with a remap

Vauxhall Vivaro 2.0 CDTi 115 Remap

The Vauxhall vivaro / Nissan primstar/ Renault traffic is a very tunable van and we have remapped a huge number of them – much better to drive and about 4 mpg better after a remap – It would be crazy not to have one tuned

Audi A5 1.8Tfsi Remap

Thankfully this was an OBD remap – The last 4 or 5 Audis with this engine I have seen despite being pre 2010 have all had anti-tune retrospectively fitted so this was a relief that we didn’t have to remove the ecu and the whole process to add 40Bhp took just 45 minutes – its certainly a lot faster car now and his Forge dump valve makes a great noise – not sure how long that would take to annoy me tho but everyone to their own

BMW 320D E90 Remap

after march 2009 these edc17 ecus are a bench tune – not a big deal but does take a bit longer to remove and open the ecu but the results are pretty spectacular. more power throughout the rev range, better throttle response and more mpg unless you drive like a complete maniac

VW Passat B5.5 1.9 TDi Remap

An uneventful car to remap you would think but this turned into a personal mission MAN vs CAR 
The car would not read via the diagnostic port and being an edc15 I didn’t particularly want to open the ecu and desolder the chip – I was sure there was an easier way – so concocting a loom I removed the ecu and connected the loom to the ecu and the kess taking power from the car battery – bingo read – remap and write back to the ecu all fine – test drive was great a nice improvment in power and smoothness but the Passat had one last spanner to throw in the works a MIL illuminated on the dash with a message EMMISSIONS WORKSHOP – plugged in VAGcom – which communicated with everything apart from the engine module so found no faults GRR plugged in Maxidias same scenario more GRRR out came the Delphi ds150e bingo straight in – 4 faults lost comms with MAF, MAP, Crankcase angle sensor and 1 other I cant remember – cleared them and went for a longer drive – perfect 
In the battle MAN vs CAR Im please to say MAN wins

Mitsubishi Shogun 3.2 Di-D Remap

Gain 40 Bhp 75Nm 
We are one of only a very few tuners who can remap this 2013 Shogun via the diagnostic port – It save a massive amount of time and effort removing the ecu opening it up and soldering the minuscule pins on the denso ecu – Nice gains and improved economy – which will improve further once those canoes are removed from the roof

BMW 530D Remap

Gain 42BHp 90Nm 
This one was a manual which is certainly rarer than the auto but gains still the big Bimmer is now swifter more responsive and improved fuel economy

Audi A5 2.0TDi Quattro Remap

This is a blend remap that will improve response, performance and that all important fuel economy – Being a 2010 vehicle it requires a bench tune the most difficult part of which is removing the security bolts from the cage around the ecu plugs – but we have done so many of these now the whole job took under 2 hours and the results well worth the effort

BMW Z4 2.0i Remap

Gain 15Bhp 18Nm 
All 4 cylinder petrol BMW s are as flat as you can imagine in teh 1700-2100 rpm range – so while the top end bhp is not massively improved ( but still noticable) its worth tuning them to improve this low down area – this was no different with sharper response

VW Golf MK7 1.6 TDi Tuning

The Mk7 golf has moved away from using the unlockable Siemens ecu back to Bosch but unfortunately the edc17c64 ecu is not tunable as yet – but our customers dont want to wait so we have a very special tuning module that fits to the commn rail sensor . crankcase angle sensor and boost sensor that gives amazing results – they fit very easily this one taking 10 minutes including tidying up the wiring and results are instant 

BMW 535D Remap 

ECU Remapped 26/03/2014
Gain 55BHp 130Nm 
Bid diesel with big power that is now even bigger – this was the 272BHp version on an 07 reg so one of the last before the stock power was upped – tuning makes a massive difference to the power delivery and will help on the mpg as well unless driven on the edge
