Range Rover Sport TDV8
ECU Remapped 02/07/11
Gain 68Bhp 160Nm
These Range Rover TDV8s are fantastic cars – Paul has just bought this one and while he was enjoying the drive wanted a bit more go – well we can do more than a bit. Now boasting 335bhp and 800Nm its a flying machine – Paul came back from the test drive looking like the Cheshire Cat – and with sensible driving (doubtful) he will see improvements of up to 4mpg as well – apart from winning the lottery he couldn’t have had a better day – ticket for Tuesday I guess.

Nissan QashQai+2 1.5 Dci 105Bhp
ECU Remapped 05/07/11
Gain 35Bhp 70Nm
Paul’s Nissan suffered from too much lag trying to pull away and a little down on power for what is a pretty chunky vehicle – 90 minutes work and its now faster from the off with a distinct lack of lag and definately a bit more pacey – in fact gets through its limited rev range much more like a petrol.

Paul “Also now getting average of 55 mpg best before was 42 mpg very pleased”

Ford Transit 90T350 Recovery Truck
ECU Remapped 05/07/11
Gain 30BHp 60Nm
If you are in the recovery game you need something that will still keep pace even with a car on board and this Transit was just not cutting it – despite having a mechanical Turbo – so no boost control map we can still give this Ford a bit more oomph to get it to the breakdowns quicker and not struggle home when laden.

Vauxhall Vectra  C 1.9 CDTI 120Bhp
ECU Remapped 06/07/11
gain 30Bhp 65Nm
Steve brought his Vectra in as he was having DPF Problems – he is in the motor trade so we remapped his car to give better performance and fuel economy as well as removing the DPF function from the ECU – he will now replace the DPF on the car with a straight through exhaust pipe – DPF problems resolved and extra performance and economy – happy days.

Land Rover Discovery3 TDV6
ECU Remapped 12/07/11
Gain 38Bhp 85Nm
Nick wanted to reduce the lag in his automatic Land Rover Discovery and improve fuel economy – he tows a fairly large caravan a fair bit so a performance tune is the way to go here so the vehicle is not working too hard when pulling – test drive by his wife reported a much faster pull away with no lag at all and swifter progression down the road.

Mini One 1.6 16v 90Bhp
ECU Remapped 12/07/11

Gain 5 BHp 9Nm
OK this doesnt look like a big gain – but the way it drives is a massive difference – we have tuned this vehicle specifically for improved economy but the extra power along with sharper throttle response makes it feel a whole bunch nippier – fuel efficiency will be improved also.

VW Passat 2.0 tdi 170Bhp
ECU Remapped and DPF removed 13/07/11

Gain 40Bhp 80Nm
Gary has had this vehicle for just 6 months and 6k miles but the DPF is causing problems keeping getting stuck in regeneration despite only having 32k miles and much motorway driving – a new dpf by VW was £2000- option here was to remap the ECU gaining bhp and mpg and write the DPF function from the ecu – next we removed the DPF from the car and removed the internals from the box – end of story and aproximately 1/4 of the price.

Range Rover TD6 174Bhp
ECU Remapped 13/07

Gain 40Bhp 120Nm
Two Gary’s today – this one has this big Rangie that he uses for towing but its not up to the job on Cornish hills so we remapped the ECU for extra power and torque to help him on his way – a few extra mpg will help as well.

Mercedes CLS 320 CDI  221Bhp
ECU Remapped 15/07/11

Gain 45Bhp 90Nm
Still as smooth as ever – in fact even more so but now with extra punch when required – good mpg savings too.

Saab 1.9 TiD 120Bhp
ECU Remapped 18/07/11

Gain 38Bhp 80Nm
Shared with the Vauxhall Vectra the Saab 1.9 TiD engine has plenty to give especially when they are  lackluster to start with – no problem for us, good gains in power and economy will benefit especially when towing as this owner likes to do.

Citroen DS3 1.6 Thp 150Bhp
ECU Remapped 19/07
Gain 50Bhp 71Nm

Andrew has literally just aquired his DS3 with just 100 miles on the clock he wants the full Motorsport deal
So in with the K&N panel filter – thats a squeeze, and on with the map   –    its now equal in Bhp to a DS3 Racing – but with 45Nm of torque more than the Racing – another happy DS3 owner.

Jeep Patriot 2.0 CRD 140Bhp
ECU Remapped 19/07/11

Gain 40Bhp 80Nm
Jeep share a lot of engines with Mercedes but in this case the engine is basically a VW 2.0 TDi 140 – so that’s a great engine to tune – Richard will be towing a caravan with this so the extra ooph will come in very handy – and improved mpg too.

Vauxhall Insignia 2.0 cdti 160Bhp
ECU Remapped 20/07/11

Gain 30Bhp 65Nm
Chris wanted better economy so we remapped his Vauhall with a blend map we can achieve more powerful results but this is a nice balance of power and economy.

Audi TTS 2.0 TFSI 272 Bhp
ECU Remapped 21/07/11

Gain 40Bhp 75Nm
Having been so impressed with the remap on his TT (on left in photo) this customer wanted his new TTS remapped right from the word go, so off we went to Victoria Audi to put the first back to standard and remap the new TTS – its so new in fact it hasn’t even been registered yet, you can even still see the plastic travel cover on the car.

Citroen Relay 2.2Hdi 100Bhp
ECU Remapped 21/07/11

Gain 35Bhp 70Nm
Mick is a courier and all round good guy who was after a bit more speed from his Citroen Relay and that what we gave him – will improve fuel economy too – did you know this vehicle is called a Jumper overseas – nice name.

VW Golf 2007 2.0 Tdi 170Bhp
ECU Remapped 21/07/11

Gain 40Bhp 80Nm
Pete is getting a new job that will mean a huge amount of traveling – while most of the driving will be on motorways and A roads we chose a performance map which will suit nicely, making the long journeys more pleasurable and more economical.

BMW 520D E60 177Bhp
ECU Remapped 22/07/11

Gain 40Bhp 80Nm
Tony wanted a bit more power from his BMW and judging on his usage a fairly strong map was chosen for the car – immediately noticeable even with the auto gearbox.

VW GOLF GTI 2.0 Tfsi 200 Bhp
ECU Remapped 22/07/11 and panel air filter fitted

Gain 43Bhp 85Nm
Lawrence has owned his Golf for a few years and while he still likes the car the sparkle had gone from their relationship – he spotted the FlashRemapping van and knew what he had to do – a performance remap and a BMC panel air filter to compliment and all is happy again.
He has the added verve and the car got its stay of execution.

Citroen C4 1.6 hdi 16v 90Bhp
ECU Remapped 23/07/11

Gain 30Bhp 60Nm
John has owned this 2006 Citroen from new and only covered 26000 miles and was thinking of changing to get something a bit more pokey – he decided a remap would give him the extra he was looking for without changing car – suffice to say he was delighted.

Citroen DS3 1.6 HDi 90Bhp 99G
ECU Remapped 28/07/11
Gain 30BHp 35Nm
Jim has been to one of our DS3 meets and was waiting a bit to get his car remapped – its now much more responsive – more economical and reduced CO2 – see the greener than a green thing thread for more details

Citroen DS3 1.6 THP 150BHp
ECU Remapped 29/07/11
Gain 50 BHp 70Nm
Another Motorsport map for the DS3 Thp – Already fitted with a panel air filter all was left to do was our alterations to the ecu software – its now a real flying maching and beater of the DS3 Racing

Renault Koleos 2.0 Dci 150Bhp
ECU Remapped 30/07/11
Gain 35+Bhp 70+Nm
Not the most common vehicle on the road this one but it could do with a little tuning to help hill climbs and generally make it a bit more lively – well that is exactly what we gave it – Also worth noting it now pulls much better and smoother from low revs in long gears – thats bound to improve the mpg too.
