Range Rover and part of Land Rover and owned by Tata Motors of India. First introduced in 1970 they were initially a “frame on ladder” design like the Land Rover but with coil springs as opposed to leaf springs appealing to those wanting a “luxury” off-road vehicle. Their 4X4s are now a monocoque and are most definitely at the top of the luxury 4WD market.Range Rover use some great engines to power their vehicles and “Top Gear” recently commented that the TDV8 is “all the car you will ever need” and FlashRemapping cannot argue with that.
