ECU Remapping, Chipping and Chip Tuning for Toyota
Toyota of Japan – the worlds largest automobile manufacturer by sales and production – was founded in 1937 by Kiichiro Toyoda. Not only are they the largest manufacturer, they also have the world’s most sold vehicle – the Corolla – with over 35 million units sold from its 1966 introduction to 2007. That means every 40 seconds of every hour of every day for the last 40 years a Toyota Corolla is sold – they must be doing something right, and I can tell you what that is – RELIABILITY! Despite a recent recall of over 8 million vehicles, the Toyota brand, including luxury arm Lexus and bargain brand Daihatsu, have retained this image.
Toyota were a little late to the turbo diesel party, preferring the pursuit of petrol/electric hybrids but have recently dipped their toes in the diesel revolution with the D-4D motors which are the most tuneable.
